weekend recap: nana and papa

Once Friday rolled around, I just wasn't in the mood for cooking. Luckily, my husband is always on board for going out, so he quickly agreed to use a giftcard and hit up Cracker Barrel for dinner. Amos had had a few late nights, with no naps, so he was alittle out of it, during dinner.

Silas was with us though. He had a blast flirting with all the waitresses and playing their little strategy game. Or playing with their strategy game, I should say.

This cutie got his share of attention too! He wanted to join in on the food, but his elephant will have to do for now.

We had visitors show up the next morning! Nana and Papa and Granny! The boys were thrilled to get to spend time with their grandparents. Some of us chatted away and leisurly Saturday, while Jason and Papa worked on our leaky faucet.

After the 10th trip to Lowes, (I joke, I joke...kinda) the faucet is fixed. We may start using that bathroom again!

We celebrated with Chinese and Andy's! Yum! The boys didn't mind eating ice cream twice.

This was the first Sunday, in two weeks, that we were in town. We visited CCOJ and enjoyed worshiping there. The weather drew us outside for lunch, just before the storms blew in for a bit.

After a quick lunch, I left all three of the boys with my husband and headed to Kansas for a friend's baby shower. While there, I picked up a new piece of furniture that my mom bid on at an estate sale! We now have a futon down in the playroom for comfy seating and extra sleeping. Look how many kiddos we can fit on it!
