my three little men: week 22

Well, I obviously have to laugh about the fact that I just got done telling you how great of a week we had last week. Because this week was the opposite of great. It’s like a law of nature that good weeks are always followed by tough ones. We still had some really fun times, but I marking it in the books, as I’m glad that it is over. Sickness stinks.

I’ve already filled you in on the trip to the ER, and luckily, that night/morning was the worst of it, but Ivan spent most of this week sleeping in our room and I spent most of the night checking on him. Last night was his first night back in his own room. It was a good night for us all.

I think we all got a touch of something. Some worse than others *cough* Jason *cough*. We are definitely ready to put it behind us.

The boys received suits of armor as an Easter gift and they have been having a ton of fun with it. There’s been a fair amount of crying as well – when someone hits too hard with the sword- but it has opened up a whole new word of soldiers and army.

We’ve spent a fair amount of time outside – me working on my plants, and Jason trying to tame what use to be our yard. We’ve enjoyed it and the boys are overcoming their fear of anything bug. But not Daddy's scary stories.

We’ve also got to spend a lot of time with friends. Its been great to have a full house, good conversation, and lots of laughter. Amos thinks it should be like that every night.

Ivan has been ferociously champing on everything. At our doctor check-up she spotted two mounding gum lines. I’m hoping the actual teeth will hold off popping up for a couple more months. We’ll see.

After traveling the last two weekends, we are ready for a weekend at home. We are hoping to get in a little bit of work, and a lot of down time. We’ve definitely got our eye on summer. It’s getting closer and closer.
