So, all of the sudden, out of nowhere, my infant became a baby, a little person. It's hard to describe the difference, but it is definitely there.
I think sitting is part of the change. There's something about them being able to sit and reach for toys.
Silas and I both like the fact that he can sit and play. He'll contently sit and play and watch for quite a while.
I think we've finally kicked the early morning waking habit. And I think the dream feed was the culprit. It's so counterintuitive, but waking him to feed around 9:45 p.m. interrupted his sleep cycle and caused him to wake early.
We may or may not have had some irritation related to teething this week. There were a couple of grumpy days where he was just chomping away at anything near his mouth. For us, teething tablets have been our best defense against sore gums.
After a couple of DIAPER EXPLOSIONS this week, I'm thinking it's time to move on up in size. That would put him in size 4. Before too long, he and Amos will be wearing the same size. We already think their thighs are the same size.
So our excitement of Silas taking a bottle was short lived. He refused it this week just as easy as he took it last week. However, he has been eating food a little better. Most days I try to give him something, cereal or bananas and I don't have to force it into his mouth EVERY time.
Naps were great this week! We all knows what that means. Next weeks will be terrible. Ha ha!
He spent some quality time with the cousins this week. My parents came over to watch them for our anniversary dinner! 4 years!
Sorry Dad, both the babies for looking!
Lastly, let me apologize for the poor quality pictures. I have been without my camera for the last two weeks. I'm hoping it is a quick fix and I'll have it back soon!
