Our Little Pumpkin. Pretty much the universal first Halloween costume. It's hard to help. And don't mind the cowboy who's holding him.
The next year, we had a fresh new addition right before Halloween. Now that is a cute dog! And, of course, the fire fighter. Accompanying them was FIRE and a Dog Catcher.
In 2013, we used one of our favorite books at the time and became Max and his wolf suit. And the not so crazy Wild Thing!
Last year, 2014, per request, we had Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Amos really lived that one up!
In the past, we've either gone to party's or events put on by large organizations. This was the first year, we decided to actually do the whole trick or treating thing. We were told that Grand and Main in Carthage were blocked off for people, so that seemed like a good place to try! Boy I'm glad we did. Jason and I have also never been trick-or-treating, and we kept remarking how nice it was! Roads blocked off, picturesque homes, and such a friendly neighborhood! We definitely felt like we were in the movies.
The boys did not get the hang of saying "trick or treat", but everyone thought they were so cute that they came home with buckets of candy anyway!
