We had quite the exciting weekend, celebrating Silas' 3rd birthday. But by Sunday, the partying caught up with Silas. His runny nose developed into a full cold. And then it hit me. Amos and Ivan were getting over it, nonetheless, we had a very quite week.
After getting out of the house for school on Monday, we stayed in until adventuring out again today. We spent the week laying around, rubbing on essential oils, and reading books. We're glad to all be feeling better so that we can put on our costumes once again.

The problem with older brothers, always trying to blow out your candles.
Wooden swords. They love them. I hope we don't regret this gift.
Ivan has been taking steps on his own this week. He's going to have it in no time. He's branching out in his diet too. Previously, he's turned up his nose to most meat, but I just keep trying to give it to him. This week he's decided that he doesn't mind it too much! Maybe his appetite is just growing.
And in case you missed it, we had a special announcement today.
We are all pretty excited about it - well, maybe not Ivan, if he knew. But one day, he will be. We love how close of a friendship Amos and Silas have. We know Ivan will join in that soon, but 3 seems to leave an odd man out. We're hoping four will round out things a little bit.
