celebrating silas

Silas doesn't officially turn 3 until Wednesday, but we celebrated on Saturday with friends and family.  We invited everyone to test out their Halloween costumes early at a costume party.

Hope you could guess, but we are all from Neverland.  We've Captain Hook, Smee, Peter Pan, Wendy and the Indian.

We had lots of crazy friends show up too.  Captain America, Toothless, lots of princesses and ballerinas, a dragon, and super girl to name a few.

I can't throw a party without party games, so everybody always gets to indulge me.  BINGO went over pretty well.  Especially with the free flowing amounts of candy.

Our favorite part of parties are all our friends and family we get to spend time with.

Cake, cookies and finger food came next.  

He was very spoiled by all the generous gifts.  He just can't decide what to play with next.

Our last event was the candy parade.  The kids followed Captain Hook through the house collecting candy and then ended up outside where more candy was waiting.  Then they ran off all that sugar.

Please appreciate this picture.  The candy was DEFINITELY Silas' favorite part of the day.  Especially the pixie stix.
