We had a visit from Nana & Papa at the beginning of the week. They brought our NEW car. We have been so blessed by our family. We been a one car for almost 6 months, and you forget how much more you can do when you have two!
Silas has got some lip muscles. His preferred method of carrying his sippy is by his mouth. And he's not using his teeth because he's sucking the milk the whole time.
With our new freedom, (because of the two cars) we took a trip to the park for lunch with friends. Great naps followed!
Silas spent most of his time watching the action. I sat him in the wood chips for a second, but, of course, eating the chips soon followed. He wasn't a big fan of the grass either, so after trying both out, he was happy sitting on the blanket and playing with a few toys. As the weather gets cooler, I see a lot more days like this in our future!
We ended the week with a family camping trip! I'm going to blog about this more soon, but here are a couple pictures! We had GREAT weather for the trip and an awesome camp site! Silas did really well, but he hasn't quite reached the ideal camping age! He's still at the everything goes in my mouth phase, and not quite content to just sit on the mat or bumbo! I think this spring will be a nice camping season for our family!
Here's Amos at the same age. There are lots of differences between these two, but as Silas gets older they're beginning to look more and more alike!
