silas john - week 47

Whew!  What a week!  We had a lot going on, and these guys were champs the whole time!  Monday night we went for a "run" with Dad.  We were in the stroller and he passed us a few times on the trail.  Amos didn't want to ride in the stroller at all.  He spent most of the time running too!

This how we spent Tuesday evening:
ROASTING COFFEE! Give that boy an empty water bottle and he is happy!  May he always be this content!
Amos preferred running around and "helping" Daddy with the roasting.  Thanks to the cool down, it wasn't too bad in there.

After Jason got home, Wednesday afternoon, we hurried over to the Joplin Farmers market to set up our table and sell some coffee!  The boys were so GOOD and content just watching people shop.  We had a blast and hope to make it a weekly thing.  Come by and see us, and buy some coffee!

We also sold coffee at the Artwalk on Thursday, but thanks to a wonderful friend, we were kid free.  It was practically a date!  We enjoyed coffee, donuts and people!

This is Silas' favorite corner of the house.  I think he heads over there, because he knows that we sometimes forget to close the doors to our bedroom and laundry room.  I guess he likes his alone time.  A couple of times I've found him in the garage (Daddy!).

Due to our activities, bed time was pushed back a little about every night!  And thanks to the dark mornings, we had some late sleepers!  (Look at that belly!!!)

This boy!  He's a mess!
 I can almost reach it!
Have I mentioned how thankful I am that both my sons got their Daddy's BIG BROWN eyes!
"Smile Amos!"  "Ok, Mom!"
I LOVE THIS WEATHER!  We are out as much as possible!
We ended our week with a visit from Grammy.  She took Amos over to Carthage to see Josie and we just had the Sly for a little while!  I think he liked having Daddy's undivided attention.  He is all about Daddy these days.  Daddy just enters the room and he lights up!  That makes the weekends extra special.

Here's Amos at the same age:
