Zoo Party Pictures

We celebrated Amos' birthday with his friends this weekend, by creating a zoo in our backyard.  Animals rank pretty high in Amos' favorite things, so it was easy to decide on the theme for his birthday.  Most of the decorations were found in his room, so it made for a pretty laid back celebration.

I tried to think like a 2-year-old when planning the party.  So our brunch consisted of cereal packages, grapes, apples, bananas and a donut cake!  Yum!

We had animal visors for all the little zoo animals. 

 Apple juice, chocolate & strawberry milk to top everything off.

My two year old loves books and puppets, so I grabbed all the ones we had and made a little area for the kids.

We also fed the lion...

...Had a "Ball with the Monkey"...

... and gave the animals a bath!

The new swingset from Nana and Papa came in very handy too!

I think everyone had a great time and enjoyed the cooler weather!  Including the birthday boy!
