What a fun, full week we had. We stuffed all our days full and enjoyed every bit of it.
We jumped on board with a Thankful tree at the beginning of the month and spent Monday and Tuesday figuring out why we celebrate Thanksgiving.
Wednesday morning we loaded down the van and headed to Nana and Papa's house. We ate lunch on the way. That helped keep everyone entertained, while Mom and Dad listened to "The Boys in the Boat." We knew with all the time on the road, a book on CD would be a great way to spend it. We're only about half way through, but plan on finishing it at home.
We filled our time with so much playing. Lots and lots of bouncing, yelling, and running around. We got to love on all our family and eat lots of good food.
With the weather so nice, we got to spend a lot of time outside. Even this guy. He's been walking around a lot more the last two weeks. He's decided that he kinda likes the whole walking thing. His other two new things are joining us in prayer before meals. He squeezes his hands together and prays along. He's also a patter. If you're holding him, he'll gently start patting you.
We headed home Thursday night for a night in our own beds, but then woke up early to enjoy breakfast out - a rare treat. We were not disappointed at all and everyone cleaned their plates.
There was lots more wrestling at Grammy and Gramps house.

After all the kids went down for naps, we stayed up and played games with the family. Maybe a little too late, but that's ok sometimes.
The next morning we headed to Chanute to celebrate our Thanksgiving with my Mom's side of the family. More good food, conversations and running around playing. Everyone zonked out on the drive home.
Sunday brought church and playing a little bit of catch up. And we had to go pick out our tree. So everyone put on their rain boots and we visited the tree farms. The boys were quick to find any and all puddles to stomp it. They loved it! And we found the perfect tree, of course!
