my three little men: week 34

So on top of having a 4-year-old's birthday this week, we also celebrated our cousins birthday. We didn't know anything about Pink-a-licious (imagine that), but we had a blast. In lieu of pink finger nails, we decorated with drawn on mustaches. Amos wiped his off as soon as he got it, but I caught Silas with this pretty sweet handle bard goatee. He definitely reminded me of my dad with that on.

Amos and Silas have been having a blast with all of Amos' new toys this week. Most of the time, they are off playing together with something new. Speaking of new, we are now embarking on the lego adventure.

Ivan's had an off week. A very off week. I'm not sure why, but he's mainly only happy being held or eating. Our content little explorer left the building this week. And we want him back. I'm trying to remind myself that this is a phase and it too will pass. But it's hard.

The good news of this week is that BOTH of his tear ducts opened up. Last week it had seemed really bad. I was constantly giving him his eye ointment, but it didn't seem to clear up. And then they opened. It's one of those really annoying things that I'm so glad is over.

So he's eating everyting. EVERYTHING. All the time. He's definitely my best eater. He eats like it's going to be his last meal.

We made an impromptu trip to Chanute, KS on Thursday. My cousin let us know about a free piano that only needed picked up. We made a whole day of it by meeting up with my sister's family to tour to soon to be new house. We then celebrated my Mom's birthday a little early and waited out the rain all afternoon at their house. Sometimes impromptu trips are the best. These kids.

This guy is getting so quick. He still is just army crawlin it all over. I guess he doesn't mind digging those toes in.
