Somewhere, something clicked and now Silas is sensitive to strangers. And strangers equals anyone other than Mom and Dad. Up until the last week, he could really care less who's arms he was in, or if we were even around. That's all changed. He's much more aware of what's going on around him.
At the beginning of the week, I watched my sister's girls, Josie and Priscilla. The day started out where everyone was happy and enjoyed each other.
After waking up from his morning nap, Silas decided that he was terrified of Priscilla and began sobbing if she got anywhere close to him. This is a better depiction.
We still had a fun day. It would have been a piece of cake if Silas didn't have his crazy fear of the Cilla monster!
Brotherly love!
Sisterly love!
Here's Silas' pointer finger. He loves to use it.
The next night, my parents came over and brought dinner! The cousins were reunited for round two.
Amos and Silas are getting much better at playing. Here they are sharing and book and Amos giving Silas a turn in the car. That's big stuff.
I don't have any pictures from the end of the week because Jason's parents, Nana and Papa took the boys from Friday to Sunday. Amos barely wanted to talk to us on the phone because he was having so much fun. He came home talking all about Emma and Teigan. We love weeks that are full of family!
