As our family prepares for baby #3, its been fun to think about this same time, 2 years ago, as we prepared for this guy! 
Life just keeps going faster. This year faster than the last. But we can't imagine our family without him. Silas is always ready to have a good time. If you want to dance, he'll dance. If you want to sing, he's your guy. His personality continues to bloom. He loves to play with Amos, but he's not merely a follower. He knows what he wants and will fight for it. Especially if it's food. He loves to wear shoes and rarely takes them off. A hat, is his new favorite accessory.
He's pretty laid back - takes after his dad. He was content to sleep in a pac-n-play for about 6 months and transitions to a single bed without so much as a hiccup. He loves having his own room in our new house and will be sure to tell you which is his.
He's a talker and mimic. Amos never really mimicked us, but Silas will repeat anything we say. He especially likes to tell us whose things are whose and bye to anything and everything. And I'm sure, like most second children, he's picked up so many things that I've never even taught him. Good thing he has a big brother to watch, because there just isn't as much time to sit on the floor and point out colors.
