friday recap: on monday

After a long holiday weekend, we all hit the ground running.  Daddy went back to school and so did we!  I've done activities with Amos in the past, but he;s normally just humored me in my efforts.  Lately, he's seemed really interested in learning things.  So my plan is to have a little more routine to our activities and are actually following along with a curriculum called "God's Little Explores".  I think it's going to be a really good fit with where Amos is at and our commitment level.  The first week was all about the letter "x" and lots of exploring.

We also had fun sharing our new bubbles.  They were both so sweet.

At the end of the week we headed to Joplin to do a final walk thru of the house and celebrate Priscilla's 2nd brithday.  Here's the birthday girl.
And all the kiddos.

Then we headed outside for the real fun!  A Rockin' Dirt Party.
Silas kept his distance from the dirt, but Amos had fun getting it all over himself.

And because they are soooo cute, one more of the cousins.  Clara included.

And a shout out to the new baby, I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and feeling it.  I've had some pretty sharp pains this week and had to pull out my belly support band.  Not too stylish, but feeling a lot better with it on.

At the end of the week we FINALLY closed on our house.  We are no longer homeless.  The closing was pretty smooth and we headed straight over to the house to turn on the air.  It was 92 degrees.  Then the cool down came!  Thank you, Jesus!  By the next morning, the house was cool and we were ready to work.  More housing details to come...
