silas john - week 29

Silas has learned the "pick up and put put in your mouth" of food.  The "release" is still a little iffy.

Head banging was the sport of the week.  I think we can thank Amos for teaching Silas how to do that.

Silas' smile goes from 0-60 and back again.  But it sure is a big one.

We had a couple of scares this week as Amos decided to tip Silas over in his exesaucer and later tried to help Silas bang his head on the wall.  Luckily the first one just shocked us all and the second one was thwarted thanks to my quick actions.  We're looking forward to Silas getting a little tougher and being able to fight back.

Dissolving puffs are now on the menu.  Next up the hard stuff - cheerios.

Silas never took to a pacifier and hasn't caught on to the whole thumbsucking thing either.  This week a threw a "lovey" in his crib with him to see if he'd attach himself to that.  So far it doesn't seem to help him fall asleep, but rather entertain him.  Oh well.

He's ended his week with a nasty cough.  He's got a bit of a runny nose and watery eyes going with it.  We're hoping its nothing more than the last cold of the season.
