Conrad Jay enjoying his time at the lake! One day, little man, one day!
BIG NEWS this week, someone started smiling at Mama's voice! I love it! He loves us!
He's been sleeping better and longer too. The 6 hour stretches of sleep were back this week! Although, I think we are headed into a growth spurt so nothing ever stays the same.
We had a visitors for part of the week and it was a blast. Jason's been really busy with a college class and church stuff, so extra hands and fun were very welcomed guests.
Amos has taken off on his reading in the last few weeks. He was showing Granny and Nana his skills the whole time they were here.
Getting snuggles from Nana!
Ivan was a stinker the whole time and called Nana Papa no matter what we said. And he knew he was doing it.
Nana is an extra good color-er, and puzzle-er. Amos and Silas capitalized on this the whole time.
We were definitely sad to see Nana and Granny head home on Thursday, but we sure enjoyed our time with them.
Amos was looking forward to the lake from the second I told him we were going. He's been asking to go to the lake since about February. So for him, it was long over due.
It was this guy's first year to get in on much lake action. And like every other thing, he wasn't scared. The other two boys have been overly cautious around water. Not this one. Good thing we already know we have to keep an extra eye on him.
My grandparents invested in a floating mat, and it sure was pretty cool. I made swimming and sunbathing so much easier.
We were celebrating Father's day while down there. And I have to say that we've got some pretty great fathers in our lives. Definitely blessed to do life with this one. So thankful for him.
And this guy's pretty great too! Watching him be a grandpa has been extra special. He even willing to get in the lake for them.
Here's where Conrad hung out.
The boat was in the shop, but we had fun breaking in all the other new toys.
As I said above, we are starting to see a lot more of these types of faces.
Conrad's "serious" face.
This one's a ham and he knows it.
That's all for now. We've got an exciting week ahead of us and I'll be back next Tuesday to share a few more snippets of our life.
