christmas part 2

After celebrating at Mom and Dad's, we headed home to be at our house for Christmas.  Last year we started a new tradition where Jason tells the BIG story of Christmas while we enjoy our hot chocolate!

Christmas morning we started by acting out the Christmas story with our nativity and the boys discovered that Jesus was missing again this year.  A clue was left that sent them on a hunt for baby Jesus.

Amos was our narrator.

Jesus was hiding with the stockings in the dryer!!


This was Ivan's first year to really celebrate Christmas.  I think he liked it.

I surprised Jason with an overnight trip down to Tulsa.  We stayed at a B&B down there before flying out during our honeymoon and enjoy going back down there.

 We took the morning pretty slow and enjoyed each gift for a little bit after it was opened.

Who would think we would be outside in short-sleeves, without any shoes on on Christmas morning?

It was another great Christmas!! Full of laughter and fun!

christmas part 1

Our Christmas started a little early at Grammy and Gramps house.  We were able to stay with them two nights and had lots of fun celebrating! 

We had our annual Christmas party down at the church.  The kids call this the scooter party and spend almost all their time down in the gym wearing themselves out.

Christmas Eve morning we pretended was Christmas with Mom and Dad.

The angels sang and danced along with us.

The two Kindergartners read the Christmas Story for us this year!!
